EOI now open for Disaster Recovery Standing Panel to Fast-Track Post-Crisis Support

11 November, 2025

In a step toward strengthening disaster resilience, the NSW Reconstruction Authority has unveiled a new Disaster Recovery Standing Panel designed to accelerate the delivery of essential goods and services to communities in the wake of natural disasters.

The initiative aims to create a list of trusted suppliers who can be quickly activated to deliver essential goods and services to local communities in the aftermath of floods, bushfires, storms and other weather events.

The standing panel will improve coordination between recovery planning and procurement, offering better visibility of available resources before disasters strike.

Key benefits of the Disaster Recovery Standing Panel include faster activation of goods and services through a network of pre-evaluated suppliers, improved coordination with local recovery planning to ensure timely and targeted support.
