Small business surveys

The Commission works to help resolve issues affecting small businesses across the state and influence meaningful change. In order to do so, the Commission endeavors to find new ways of listening to small businesses.

Checking the pulse of small business

The Commission works to help resolve issues affecting small businesses across the state and influence meaningful change. To assist these efforts, the Commission endeavours to find new ways of listening to small businesses to gauge their views and experiences.

The Commission conducts regular surveys to measure the confidence and performance of small businesses across the state.

These surveys track business pain points, performance, confidence, expectations, and awareness of government support. Businesses are randomly selected and invited to participate in the survey.

The survey helps influence and inform NSW Government policy and programs. In 2020, the survey was particularly valuable in assessing the impacts of COVID-19 on the sector.

The survey responses provided by small businesses are treated confidentially.

Micromex has been appointed to conduct these surveys for the Commission.

Any questions or feedback regarding the survey may be sent to [email protected]
