Small Business Reference Group

Ensuring the views and experiences of small businesses are represented

The NSW Government is working to improve opportunities for small businesses and make it easier for them to do business.

The Small Business Reference Group (SBRG) comprises 12 small business owners and operators from across NSW, with a focus on regional representation. The Group meets regularly with the NSW Government and the NSW Small Business Commissioner to share the views and experiences of its members and help shape future government services, business support measures and the advocacy work of the Commissioner.

The SBRG is jointly chaired by the Minister of Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope and the NSW Small Business Commissioner Chris Lamont.

The Group meets at least quarterly, with the inaugural meeting taking place in March 2021.
