Mark your calendar with these important dates in October for NSW small businesses

Thursday 1

 

JobKeeper extension (started on 28 September) and payment rates change for your eligible employees.

 

1 & 14 October 

 

Complete JobKeeper monthly business declaration to be reimbursed for September fortnights.  

 

1 & 31 October

 

Check and submit the business actual decline in turnover to the ATO online to be eligible for JobKeeper extension. 

 

1 October

 

Claims open for medium-sized business (20-200 employees) wage subsidy of 50 per cent of an eligible apprentice or trainee’s wages.  

 

1 October

 

COVID-19 Land Tax relief extension starts for landlords who have reduced their tenants’ rent for any period between 1 October 2020 and 31 December 2020.  

 

7 October
